Printing shouldn't be this hard

When I was a design student at Temasek Polytechnic in Tampines, printing was always the last scramble before a deadline. You'd finish your work, then realise you still had to get it printed. Queue at the school print room before it closed, or cross the road to the shop nearby and hope they weren't packed. Either way, you needed a USB ready, you needed to be there in person, and you needed to beat the clock.

And if someone before you had a large order? You'd just stand there, watching pages come out one by one. That waiting time could've been spent having lunch or catching up with friends.

Even now as a student at NUS, I see the same pattern. Printing is one of those things that shouldn't take effort but somehow always does. For photos, it's even worse. Most shops need you to come in person, hand over your files, wait.

We thought: what if you could just upload a file from your phone, pay, and have it done? No queue, no minimum, no USB, no closing time.

Who we are

We're Adib and family, based in Tampines. When I say "we," I mean it. My father helps with operations, and my mother keeps everything running at home. HelpMePrint is a family thing, and honestly, getting to build something together has been one of the best parts of this.

I'm an architectural technologist by training, and I build software for the built environment by day. But I've always thought there's a way to improve how any service works, even one as familiar as printing. Especially one as familiar as printing. The shops that do this today serve their customers well, but the experience hasn't really changed in years: walk in, hand over a file, wait, pay, walk out.

HelpMePrint started because I wanted to see what happens when you rethink that from the customer's side. What if the whole thing could happen from your phone? What if the prints came to you?

It's also personal. I spent years in work where everything was screens all day. HelpMePrint is partly me wanting to get back to something tangible. Holding a printed photo, cycling across Tampines to deliver it, having a real conversation with someone about what they need. After writing code all day, any chance to touch grass is a blessing.

What we actually do differently

No minimum order. Need one page? One photo? That's fine.

Order from your phone. Upload your files on our site, see a preview, pay online. No need to come in person. We handle documents and 4R photos. Check our pricing for the full breakdown.

Collect when it suits you. S$2 delivery in Tampines, self-collect at Tampines MRT, Tampines West MRT or Tampines East MRT for free, or S$5 tracked delivery anywhere in Singapore. Your prints are ready when you are. No standing around, no rushing to beat closing time.

If you're in Tampines, there's a good chance I'm cycling to meet you too! I live near Tampines East MRT and honestly, every delivery is a chance to get some exercise. You get your order, I get my cardio hahaha.

We care about the output. Every 4R photo is brightness-adjusted before printing, because what looks good on your phone doesn't always translate to paper. Most shops don't bother with this.

Your files are deleted after printing. We don't keep your photos or documents.

We're building this as we go

Every time a customer tells us something could be better, we fix it. One customer's iPhone photos wouldn't upload, so we added HEIC support the same day. Another's prints came out too dark, so we researched the issue and changed our calibration process within hours.

That's the advantage of being small. We can move fast and we actually listen.

We're not trying to be the biggest print shop. We're trying to be the most thoughtful one.

Come say hi

If you need something printed, whether it's a document or a photo, we're here.

No sign-up. No app to download. Just upload and print.

And if you have feedback, we genuinely want to hear it. We're building this for you.
